Ms. Roux joined the Biomedical Research Innovation Platform of the SAMRC in July 2006. She furthered her studies completing her Honours and Masters at the University of Stellenbosch. She has 9 years working experience in diabetes research using various in vivo models. In November 2014, she was seconded to Strategic Health Innovation Partnerships (SHIP) as project manager. In her capacity as project manager, she currently manages a diverse portfolio namely NEWTON Fund Non-Communicable diseases, the SAMRC TB HIV Collaborating Centers, Programme Officer for TB RePORT SA, SA-INDIA Collaborative Research Programme on HIV/AIDS and TB and SAMRC capacity-building and transformation projects.
